Christians and Nigerians have been charged to live in peace with one another.
Archbishop Luke Odubanjo stated this at the 40th Annual Women’s Fellowship Conference of the Diocese themed Strive for Peace and Holiness Apart from Which No One Will See God, held at Methodist Church Nigeria, Olorunda Circuit.
The clergyman explained that the theme was carefully chosen to encourage Christians “into holy living amidst endemic corruption and immorality in our nation and checkmating youth restiveness and criminal activities. It is, therefore, a call unto prayerful and intentional action for peace and holiness as Christians for the betterment of our society.”
The cleric, who further noted the importance of holiness and unity, also charged women to obey their husbands , and appreciated the women of the diocese for their love, care, cooperation and concern and wished them a happy celebration.
