God will give us peace in Nigeria, but we are appealing to the rulers to work assiduously on the security challenges and improve a lot of the people. Let them give their own dues to the masses because once the masses are denied of their own portion of God’s given wealth and natural resources, the rulers too should know they will not be at peace and the security of the nation will be in danger.
As I always say, our leaders should know that if the children of the poor are hungry, the children of the rich will not sleep. Instead of squandering the resources of this nation, our leaders should use it for the unemployed graduates by creating industries and also take care of the elderly.
Sincerely speaking, the spirit and blood of the pensioners are not praying for this nation, they have served this nation duly and meritoriously and for them to now enjoy the fruit of their labour and sweat, they are now being denied their retirement entitlement (pension) and are suffering heavily.
Hence, our leaders should repent and give the pensioners their dues so that their spirit and blood will pray for this nation.
God says we cannot enjoy the best of the nation unless our leaders repent. They should know that God created all the resources for the purpose of all of us and not for the privileged few.
The Bible says-”Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people”(Proverbs14:34). Therefore, if our leaders and all of us live righteously, there will be peace in the country and my prayer is that God will exalt this nation.
Also, our religious leaders should not be shy to address the issue of bad leadership and also make their views read and heard. They should speak and preach the true message of God to the church and the nation and open the eyes of the people to the Biblical ways of life. Leaders at the corridor of power should rule with the fear of God in order to actualise true democracy that would reflect the yearnings of the masses.
