Lagos APC faction to hold parallel congress October 16

A faction within the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Lagos4Lagos Movement has unveiled the list of state executive members for its congress scheduled to hold October 16.

The list was made public by the Lead Visioner of the movement, Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran at the state secretariat, on Thursday, while displaying nomination forms obtained from the national secretariat of the party for the congress.

According to him, a veteran grass root politician in Agege local government, Prince Sunday Ajayi is penned as the state Chairman of the movement while Bode Makinde from Ojo Local government is to serve as the secretary.

Others include Khairat Ojikutu-Shokoya from Ikeja local government as Assistant Secretary, Funke Ijayekunle from Somolu Local Government as the Organising Secretary, Segun Aka-Bashorun is to serve as the Publicity Secretary.

Speaking on the readiness of his group for the state Congress, Adediran said, “We have obtained nomination forms for our state executives.

“The names on the list presented here today, Thursday, are names of our executives that will contest for various offices during the state Congress of our great party. I am assuring you all that Lagos4Lagos is ready for the state Congress and we will surely win any freely contested and conducted congress in the state,” he said.
