A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Mallam Kazeem Yusuf, has appealed to all interest groups in the party to work in unison for the party to meet expectations of the people.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin on Tuesday, Mallam Yusuf, who hails from Igbaja in Ifelodun Local Government area of the state, urged the APC stakeholders to embrace peace, harmony and oneness with the aim of fulfilling the party’s manifesto.
He implored members to be wary of saboteurs, who he said were bent on destabilising the party, saying that the President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, still parades moles within the party.
Mallam Yusuf, a staunch supporter of Senator Ajadi, warned that Senator Saraki’s relevance in Kwara politics should not be dismissed with a wave of the hand, insisting that he has moles in APC.
The APC chieftain, who expressed confidence in the ability of the state governor-elect, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, to give the people a new lease of life, also called for patience.

Yusuf appealed to APC leaders to eschew any move that could precipitate division in the party and destabilise the incoming government midway, saying that damages had been done and Kwarans expect redemption.
“I can assure you, if the present O to Ge Movement managed the system and victory very well, though it is very difficult to manage, things will get better. A lot of people would come with divergent views that they made this happen.
“But it is a movement, just like what happened in Egypt and Libya. If it happened anywhere, nobody can stop it; it is a tsunami. But we have to be very careful because there is nothing anybody can say now than to be patient with each other. We need to be magnanimous in victory,” he said.
Yusuf appealed to all interest groups to come together and work as a team, saying that this is the only way they could actualise their objectives.
According to him, all hands must be on deck to move the state forward, appealing to APC members to shun anything that could cause disunity within the people and the party at large.
