Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has assured residents that he will continue to deliver good governance and the dividends of democracy, stating that the Silverbird Governor of the Year Award bestowed on him will further motivate him to do more for the people.
Governor Sanwo-Olu gave this assurance after receiving the Silverbird Governor of the Year Award at a ceremony held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island.
Accompanied by members of the Lagos State Executive Council and other top government officials, the governor dedicated the award to the people of Lagos State, vowing to redouble his efforts in providing good governance and democratic dividends.
He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing his Renewed Hope agenda as a key solution to the country’s economic recovery.
According to him, Tinubu’s visionary leadership and innovative policies as the first Lagos State Governor in the Fourth Republic laid the foundation for Lagos to become a vibrant and dynamic city.

The governor also expressed gratitude to the Silverbird Group for honoring him with the Governor of the Year Award.

“Together, we have made significant strides. Let us continue to work hand in hand to create a brighter future for every Lagosian,” Sanwo-Olu said.
