Radio host and Artists and Repertoire (A&R) consultant, Ife Ajagbe, has emerged Head of Operations for Symphonic West Africa.
With a record of advocating for Nigerian artists and coaching independent musicians on achieving prominence across media platforms, Ajagbe’s new position signifies a fresh push to amplify the voices of emerging talents in the region.
Symphonic Distribution, an independent music distribution and marketing company operating across major music markets, including the USA, has entrusted Ajagbe with this important role.
In her capacity, she will be responsible for the interests of Symphonic clients and partners in West Africa while also facilitating the onboarding of new musical talents.
Commenting on her new position, Ajagbe emphasised, “My role at Symphonic involves ensuring the well-being of existing Symphonic clients and partners in the West African region, in addition to welcoming and supporting emerging musical talents. Symphonic is committed to being a source of support for artists in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa, extending beyond digital music distribution.”
“Afrobeats is the new global phenomenon, and nurturing this promising product’s sources is essential. In line with our commitment to artists’ development, Symphonic West Africa intends to provide regular training, master classes, and other educational opportunities for artists as they progress in the music industry,” Ajagbe added.
