I will bounce back soon —AY Comedian

Days after losing a part of his Lekki home to a mysterious fire, popular comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY Comedian, has revealed that he is not moved by the incident and would bounce back with something magnificent soon.

AY, while speaking with R ahead of his show in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, in October said nothing is bigger and greater than God, as he would not want to dwell on what has happened but rise from it and come out stronger.

The comedian, who has reunited with his family in Atlanta after his US and Canada tour, said he would continue to look at the brighter side of life, insisting that he has every reason to thank God for his life and that of his family.

According to him, pain can be temporary when “you find yourself with the right partner to journey with. It may last a minute or an hour or a day, but eventually, it will subside and something else will take place.”

The comedian said he was moved and overwhelmed by love and support he received from fans, colleagues and friends who were touched by the fire that razed his house, adding that seeing how much love he got, he had to be strong and bounce back in style.

“Right now, we are thanking God and focusing on the projects ahead because we can’t brood on what we have lost too long. Lives matter and God matters more. I am looking forward to having a great show in October when the AY Live comedy show returns. Something magnificent is coming,” he noted.
