The actor, it was gathered, had been battling with a prolonged health problem that worsened some months back.
Tribune Online learnt that Ogun Majek died in his Imalefalafia house at Oke-Ado area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Thursday morning.
Friends and family members of the veteran actor including colleagues in the industry rallied the actor to save his life by raising funds for him.
The chubby actor looked pale and frail when our correspondent had an encounter with him at a public hospital in Ibadan some weeks back.
He had come to the clinic for medical consultation but declined to speak when he was approached.
Members of Theatre Arts Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) led by its President, Mr Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin, was said to have confirmed his death and asked for patience on further developments regarding his burial.
