Taking over the reins of authority in a brief ceremony in Marmalari Barracks, the new General Officer Commanding said he has come with an open mind and is ready to work as a team leader with the rest of the officers and men to achieve the best and route insurgency out of the state.
He said he has followed activities in the seven division of the Nigerian Army and was satisfied that tremendous gains have been made which he was ready to improve upon by hitting the ground running.
Earlier, the former GOC Major General Ibrahim Yusuf had handed over to the new GOC in his office before inspecting a guard of honour and driving out to his new designation.
