Ingredients
Seasoning
Salt
Ball pepper
Smoked fish or otherwise
Onions
Fresh Tomatoes
Spaghetti
Egg
Vegetable oil
Procedure:
Wash the onions, pepper and tomatoes. Cut the onions into thin slices and grate the pepper and tomatoes. They can also be ground into rough paste.
Wash the smoked fish and pick the bones to avoid being choked. Then, soak in lukewarm water to soften. Other types of fish can also be used, depending on personal preference. The quantity of fish to be used also depends on taste and the intended volume of the sauce to be made.
Place your clean fry pan on fire and pour some groundnut oil into it. When it starts to sizzle, add the sliced onions first. After 30 seconds, add the grated or blended tomato and pepper paste. Also add salt and desired seasoning to taste. Leave to fry till the oil starts settling on the surface and then add your prepared fish.
Cover the fry pan or pot to allow steaming for few minutes.
Place another pot on fire. Add the quantity of water required for the quantity of spaghetti to be used. You could allow the water to boil before adding the spaghetti or just add it instantly. Add salt to taste and leave to boil. Little butter or groundnut could also be added to prevent the spaghetti from clumping.
When the spaghetti is almost done, add a little bit of your fish sauce and mix with together for few minutes. In a separate fry pan or pot, heat oil, add little of the sliced onions and fry your whisked egg.
The three dishes can be combined in whatever way suits the individual.
