He gave the hint when officials of the agency, led by its chairman, Dr Isioma Okobah, paid an advocacy visit to the ministry.
Mr. Ebie commended the agency for coming up with the programme, saying that it would help enhance the health status of school children to ensure that they are mentally and physically fit for academic work.
He said the ministry would work with chief inspectors of education in the field offices of the ministry to sensitise schools’ heads and parents on the need to embrace the school health programme.

Earlier in her speech, the chairman of the State Primary Health Care Agency, Dr Isioma Okobah, said that the visit was to seek the support of the ministry so that the objectives of the school health programme would be achieved.
She said the programme was geared towards promoting the health of school age children so that their emotional, social and physical health would be taken care of, and that it would ultimately make them live a productive life in future.
