The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, the apex sociopolitical youth group in the South East geopolitical zone has condemned in strongest terms any move or plans to disrupt the exams of over 300,000 WAEC students from the South East zone from writing her mathematics WAEC examination slated to hold tomorrow being Thursday 30th May, 2024.
In a statement issued Wednesday in Owerri by the President General of COSEYL, Comrade Goodluck Ibem said that the exams an international exams that cuts across so many countries adding that it will be gross insensitivity and an act of wickedness on our students for anyone who has written his own WAEC exams before now without anyone stopping him or her from doing so, to ask others not to write his own WAEC exams.
He said: “this is barbaric and pure act of wickedness on our own people most especially the poor students who may have been assisted by good-spirited individuals to register for the exams”
According to him any order aim at suffering and inflicted pain on our people amount to shooting on ones leg adding that South East WAEC students should not be disturbed from writing their exams because it is their future.

The PG said that the West African Examination Council board has made it clear that they will not postpone or shift the date of mathematics exams and any attempt by any individual or group to stop our students from writing their exams which other Nigerians from other parts of the country are writing, amount to wickedness of the highest order.
He, therefore, called on IPOB to cancel any arrangement that will derail or stop our students from writing their examination tomorrow.
Ibem insisted that the emancipation of our people does not include stopping our students from writing their examinations adding that they have to be wise.
