Child abuse is the physical, s3xual, emotional or neglect of a child, especially by a parent or caregiver. It’s a serious problem that can have long-term effects on a child’s physical and mental health.
Child abuse can take the form of sending a child to hawk goods on the streets, maltreating the child at home, s3xual exploitation, to mention a few. Child abuse can lead to aggressive behaviour, poor academic performance, severe health problems.
The possible solution to this situation is by educating parents, caregivers and the general public about the warning signs of child abuse.
It is also important to have strong laws in place to protect children and to make sure that those who abuse children are held responsible.
