Last Sunday, Arin and Princess were evicted from the Big Brother Naija house, while Tega, Nini, Saskay, and Emmanuel who were nominated alongside were saved.
- Sammie had an altercation with Angel claiming that she wanted to sleep with all the male housemates, including Big Brother. Sammie’s allegations didn’t sit well with the fans who believed he had no right to speak to her in such a manner, especially since they weren’t together, and he already picked Peace as a love interest over Angel. Angel also expressed her displeasure of the female housemates mocking her over Sammie’s comments.
- Maria and new girl, Queen had their first blow out over Pere after White Money introduced him as a strategist who was too invested in playing Big Brother’s games, and Queen concurred.
- Pere addressed the housemates as head of house in a manner which could be seen as dictatorial. Pere’s address set social media abuzz as fans wasted no time in making fun of it with videos and hilarious voice overs of the speech. They tagged him ‘General Pere’.
- Pere and Maria banned White Money from the kitchen for one week after Pere pointed out that he was using cooking for the entire house as a strategy to imbibe the mentality in the housemates that they couldn’t do without him.
The other housemates, especially Nini, defended White Money by saying that cooking was a good strategy to use in the game and she saw nothing wrong with it. Pere and WhiteMoney would later have a major spat that divided the house entirely.
- New housemate, Kayvee was withdrawn from the games after suffering a breakdown. He told Tega, Saskay, and Michael that he felt isolated in the house because the other housemates shunned him. After he broke down in tears during an early morning workout session, Big Brother sent in a doctor to give him a psyche evaluation and it was later announced that he would no longer be competing.
- In a twist, Big Brother told Maria that there would be no nominations for Sunday evictions. But she had to convince the other house mates that she had the veto power to evict any two housemates she felt like on Sunday. Maria handled her role in Big Brother’s game very well by immediately crying when she left the diary room and was able to convince the house mates that she was given a book to grade each house mate and by Sunday anybody she chose would go home. The housemates felt bad for Maria being put in an uncomfortable position.
