Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IKEDC) has launched a special initiative to provide free prepaid meters to eligible Band A customers.
According to the company, this will help them track energy consumption in real time and enjoy a seamless recharging experience.
The announcement was posted on IKEDC’s X platform on Friday, urging qualified customers to take advantage of the offer.

You can apply for a free prepaid meter by following these simple steps:
Step 1 – Check Eligibility
Visit IKEJA Electric’s MAF page to confirm if you qualify.
Step 2 – Update KYC Details
Ensure your customer information is up to date by visiting Smart KYC Portal for smooth processing.
Step 3 – Get Meter-Ready
Ensure your load wires are properly separated and accessible to allow easy installation.
Step 4 – Schedule Your Installation
Once your eligibility is confirmed, the IKEDC team will contact you to arrange a convenient installation date.
