The newly elected Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambwal, has alleged a deliberate attempt to oust governors elected under the party with a view to creating a one-party state.
Speaking to journalists at the end of the 88th National Executive Committee (NEC) of the main opposition partyM in Abuja on Monday, he did not, however, say how or by who.

Tambwal said that the PDP Governors will provide the necessary support to enable Emeka Ihedioha retrieves his post as Imo State governor if the Supreme Court decides to review the case.
The Sokoto Governor, who succeeded outgoing governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, said he would do everything to bring together, all governors elected under the party as he begins the mission to reposition the PDP.
