After a short recess from the music scene, Afro- soul singer and song writer Aramide Alli, fondly known as Aramide, is back like she never left as she has concluded plans to release her new EP.
The new work entitled “Bittersweet”, which has five tracks, is graced by collaborations from superstars Peruzzi and Boybreed, and it is meant to take listeners on a journey of a myriad of emotions through its variety of vibes and tempos.
Speaking about the new sound, Aramide said the opening track, Bittersweet, leaves one with a feeling true to its name; it talks about love, fame and money, in ways many can relate to.
The rest of the songs: Down for you, Iyawo wa, Malo and Forever will wash over music lovers with different emotions, tempos and vibes ranging from happy to sad to -you guessed it- bittersweet.
“I wanted to be more vulnerable and relatable to my audience and fans, especially those that have been supporting me from day one. They deserve to know how I think, feel and love. I also wanted to take them on a journey of what I’ve been going through while I’ve been away, through my music,” She added.
The new sound has the likes of Sizzle PRO,T.U.C and Type A as its producers.
