The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has elected new executives to run its affairs in Benue State.
In the congress held at Aliade, headquarters of Gwer East local government area of the state, Honourable Paul Salem emerged as the State Chairman with Ene Odoh as State Secretary.
In his acceptance speech, the party chairman said that the new executive is poised to reposition the party in the state in order to produce the governor in 2023.
One of the party chieftains, Torkuma Oke, said the partisanship displayed at the event was commendable as shown by the members drawn from all the three senatorial districts of the state.
On his part, Francis Iduh Alechenu said that the positive desired by many people have now come as they can seek alternatives in APGA.
Alechenu said, “This is the change that the people of Benue have been waiting for and APGA is going to be a party to reckon with in the 2023 gubernatorial election.”
The new officers were inaugurated by the party’s legal adviser, Barrister Regina Okwori.
