Following the election of ward officers for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in July, and in preparation for tomorrow’s LGA’s election, the 225 wards officers have been sworn in yesterday in Kebbi State.
While inaugurating the officers, the party legal adviser for the State, Barrister Sanusi Samaila Jega charged them to uphold the party constitution and Nigeria Constitution at all times.
“You must always consider the wellbeing of your party members, ensure you carry everybody along and be faithful to the party at all times,” he charged.
Each of the elected officers took their oath of office one after the other, which was supervised by the state caretaker members including the Chairman APC elders Committed, Alhaji Sani Zauro Hukuma.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were, the Chairman of Birnin-Kebbi local government area, Alhaji AMINU Fada, the personal assistant to the state governor, Alhaji Faruk Yaro Enabo and Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Abubakar Nayaya, all the 21 Local Council Chairmen, among others.
It would be recalled that the APC in Kebbi State has elected its ward Officers in the 225 wards on the 31st of July, 2021, respectively through consensus.
