Hon. Osamwonyi in his address disclosed that his defection was made possible by alleged irreconcilable differences in the PDP, adding that he was in the ruling APC to join hands with the state government in the development of Edo.
Osamwonyi said he was happy to be back in the party, noting that he joined politics to attract dividend of democracy to the people of Uhunwonde Constituency and with the blueprint of Okpebholo, his people will not be left out in the area of all-round development.
Receiving the new entrant into the party, the APC Chairman of Edo State, Jarrett Tenebe, said that Osamwonyi’s Joining the party was a reflection of his commitment to join the train of development piloted by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
While reaffirming that APC remains committed to supporting the Governor in the full implementation of his five point agenda and campaign promises, Tenebe welcomed the Lawmaker into the APC fold.
He commended Governor Okpebholo for what he described as unprecedented development in less than one year in office, which he said has caused opposition political parties to fade into political oblivion.
