A former member of the House of Representatives and governorship candidate in Ogun State, Honourable Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade, on Thursday revalidated his All Progressive Congress (APC) membership at his polling unit in Ipokia Local Government Area of the state.
According to a statement signed by his media aide, Azeez Adelani, Akinlade, who arrived in his home town Agosasa about a week ago to monitor and sensitise his people about the importance of the exercise had to wait till Thursday before he could process his registration.
He appealed to party members who are yet to register in Ipokia Local Government and across the other 19 local governments areas of the state to do so without delay, stating that the registration is open to everyone interested in joining the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Akinlade, however, concluded that in line with his resolve to promote party politics, peaceful coexistence and developments across the state, he would continue to monitor the process.
