
Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Tuesday, forwarded 2017 budget for the state to the state House of Assembly for approval.
The budget which is the first in the history of the administration was transmitted to the State Assembly by the governor, while the Assembly is expected to deliberate on it.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Segun Ajiboye said the assembly will invite the MDAs to defend the budgets after deliberation while the assembly is expected to pass it into law.
The details of the budget are still sketchy as at the time of filling this report, but it was, however, gathered that the total budget sum is put at N169, 720,580, 000.00.
