Prophet Sam Olu Alo, the planter of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, has called on President Bola Tinubu to urgently address the grievances of Nigerians, particularly youths, who recently staged a nationwide protest.
While paying his respects to the late Mama Abere, Prophet Olu Alo described her as a devoted Christian, loving wife, and supportive partner to her husband until her passing.
He also acknowledged the late couple as ministers of God, known for their godly and prayerful nature.
“Mama was a good mother who instilled discipline and character in her children. We shall all miss her”
Prophet Alo who made pleam. over the weekend at Efon Alaaye in Efon Local Government Area of Ekiti State said delaying action on the demands made by the aggrieved youths could be dangerous for the good image of his government.
The Cleric also said he had observed that the palliatives being given to the people with the intention to cushioning the effects of the prevailing economic hardship in the country arisen from oil subsidy removal might have been going into wrong hands instead of the poorest of the poo in the society.
According to him,”Palliatives has not helped anyone. It has been going into wrong hands, though the President has good intention to see it being given to the vulnerable in the society.
“If the President could find another thing that would benefit everybody, this would be better. Unlike in the Western World where both the elderly and the youth have Bank Accounts numbers and this helps their leaders to know the poor and the rich over there.
“Through this, helping hands could be getting across to each and everyone of them. And the so-called palliatives might not even getting to the some villages to enable them know the impacts being made by the President in alleviating their suffering.
He, however suggested that the money allocated for the purchase of the palliatives could as well be used to assist farmers saying there are food crops that could be planted within few months and bring appreciable yields.
While admonishing the youth ahead future Protest,Prophet Sam Olu Alo caution them saying though, protests are also taking place overseas, but that they should not be violent by making borne fire on roads that are already deplorable and urged them to do away with looting of properties belonging to private owners and the government.
“Youth should not let their protest degenerate to the level of being hijack by hoodlums. They should not give room for “Satan” to hijack the protest. While government on it’s part should listen to the yearnings and grievances of the people in this regard.”he adminished.
Prophet Olu Alo, therefore urged the State governors to also expedite action the implementation of the newly approved seventy thousand naira minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
