Fashion and style account for the newest challenges and opportunities for human activities in recent times. Fashion is the art and craft of applying aesthetic and visual expression to fabric to bring out the desired individual. Fashion is the expression of one’s identity and inner desire, which translates into the physical creative designs being worn by an individual. As the world witnesses innovations, fashion and style have transcended geographical locations, thereby drastically becoming dynamic and multidimensional, which reflects the diverse cultures, traditions, and personal expressions of people around the globe.

While fashion is often seen as the prevailing brand trend that becomes popular at a particular time, style encompasses an individual’s unique sense of self-expression through their individual preferences for fabrics, matching accessories, and their overall physical appearance. There has been a change in the job of fashion design lately. Both designers and fashion enthusiasts alike have continued to account for the developments witnessed in the industry lately. Both critical stakeholders are becoming increasingly aware through their understanding of what fashion and style entail. Fashion designers have created legendary designs by targeting specific market specifications such as demographics, cultural norms, and values, as well as the behavioural impacts of fashion on every segment of society. Fashion and style dictate the pattern of trends in society.

AnoliefoChinyere Jane, the CEO of St. Claire Clothing, officially launched her latest brand of Ankara collections, CHIOMA Ankara collections, in 2022. This is after a series of two other collections that were previously launched in 2020 and 2021. St. Claire’s fashion and style encompasses all aspects of Ankara fabric designs, which in their entirety aim to speak about the individual personal philosophy. This ranges from the colours of the fabric chosen, the textures, the drape and flow, the cut, and the style.

It may interest our readers to know that Chinyere Jane, like every other fashion designer, ventured into the industry to exacerbate her passionate appeals and desire to make a difference in the industry. Like every true burning desire to explore and excel Just like true art, craft, and innovation, CHIOMA Ankara collections became a new trend that has reenergized the fashion industry for more competitiveness in the industry. For St. Claire clothing, the previous successes recorded by its previous collections in 2020 and 2021 further spurred a newer and more stylish brand called CHIOMA collections. CHIOMA Ankara collections are a well-blended traditional element with contemporary trends, creating a rich and eclectic mix of styles that is marketable.
