The actor stated this during the week shortly after picking up his nomination form at the secretariat of the Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC) in the state, saying he was certain of victory even as he solicited for support and prayers from friends, family and colleagues.
Speaking with R on his political ambition, Edochie, who is the son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie, said he needed the support and prayers of every well-meaning Nigerian, who is tired of the old ways and wants a better life for the people.
Edochie seems to be banking on his youthful age as he disclosed he was the best candidate to serve the people of the state at the age of 35.
“Always remember that old ways will never open new doors. If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. I want to assure my people that they will suffer no more; their problems have come to the last bus stop,” he said.
