Collins, who is the current Nigeria Broadcasters Merit Award (NBMA) Best Voice Over artiste of the year, revealed this in a an interview with R on Friday, adding that voice-over job is the very essence of life as it is found everywhere.
Collins, who doubles as the head of production at Inspiration Fm Ibadan, said he planned to bring people to the awareness that their voice is an asset and a money-spinner if well trained and nurtured.
Speaking on the benefit of the training, the on-air-personality pointed out that, “we want to bring people to the awareness of the fact that their voice is an asset, a money-spinner.”
According to him,” it is not just a voice training. We are looking at educating people about voice-over well-beyond just doing jingles and promos, presentations on T.V and radio, regardless of which accent/language they speak.”
Collins added that the training will teach people about production, including scripting an idea, packaging, voicing, the use of special effects to produce your voice over, among other technical broadcasting related terms.
