Official Genius who became an internet sensation when he dropped his debut album Kamikaze, said he has come to give the music scene a different smell and his focus isn’t only on the Nigeria music industry but the world at large.

Official Genius is a multi talented artist and has focused on Genres like General Pop, Hip-Hop blend with Afro, Alternative/indie and Dancehall.

“It’s being a rough ride and I just kept pushing, going with the flow and also praying everyday to God nonstop, I feel like He has planned my path and I’ve just followed it and here I am on top, definitely still getting further cos I see myself leaving a huge footprint in Africa, and the world at large, I’ve always dreamt of shutting down shows in America, Asia, Europe and other continents and enjoying the love from my supporters as well,” he said.

Official Genius continues to push creative branding ideas and develop not only his brand but also develop his relationship with his supporters and followers in the process. So far, Official Genius creative ideologies have helped him grow an immense amount on social media and streaming platforms for his sounds.

Official Genius has also explained the creative process behind his songs, “the kind of music I put out, are more of live events and experiences more than fictional sounds, I make sure I’m passing a message in my music, if there’s no message then it should be the party songs to get the clubs lit.
