‘We shall all taste death! Man, woman, old and young, even animals are not spared. It is the will of the Almighty.’

The words of Reverend Ezra Adeniji, the shepherd in charge of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Oyo some days ago reminded the congregation at the burial service of businesswoman, Anastasia Lamidi of the stark reality of the end of man and all things.

The solemn service had in attendance people from the business sector from Abuja, Lagos and Ibadan who are friends and associates of the deceased’s husband, Idowu Lamidi, the Chairman of Dollar Construction.

Her funeral was a solemn moment where the grieving family was surrounded and comforted by friends and loved ones.

In a statement by Idowu Lamidi, he appreciated the support and prayers during this dark period and pleaded for privacy as the family demanded understanding in their request.
