Speaking with newsmen shortly after he was conferred with an honorary Doctorate degree by the Cornerstone University of Jerusalem and the United States of America in Jos, Plateau State, he said the inability of the military to tame Boko Haram and the recent killings of soldiers in Melete Borno State was capable of denting the image of country and the military in particular.
”The country has lost so many soldiers in the course of fighting Boko Haram in the North-East. The recent killing of our soldiers in Melete does not portray us as a serious nation.
The cost Nigeria so much to train a soldier. The Service Chiefs, therefore should be fired because they lack the capacity to tame Boko Haram,” he alleged.
