Another set of 500 beneficiaries is set to receive scholarship and bursary payments through the sponsorship program of Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, Member representing the Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State in the House of Representatives.
This development follows the conclusion of electronic grant payments to approximately 500 deserving indigenes of the Federal Constituency, who are studying at various tertiary institutions across the country.
Last Friday, the team began distributing cash payments to the first set of 600 beneficiaries, comprising students and pupils from Gifted Secondary and Special Primary Schools located in Sade, Darazo, Soro, Kafin Madaki, and Lanzai towns.
Established in 2021 by Rep. Mansur Manu Soro, these tuition-free schools offer students a full set of school kits—including uniforms, books, bags, and shoes at no cost upon admission.
The schools are exclusively reserved for top-performing school-age students within the Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency, focusing on education and mentorship.

The next group of beneficiaries includes those who have been granted various forms of sponsorship by the Federal Lawmaker as part of his commitment to encouraging youths to take education seriously.
Rep. Soro urged the beneficiaries to use their grants wisely and to uphold the ideals of their schools. He assured that his foundation would continue to promote education as the cornerstone of societal development, emphasizing that “the most expensive item in the market is illiteracy.”
Mansur Manu Soro expressed confidence that, with the grants provided, these students will be able to focus on their studies and excel, as stated by Aleeyu Darazo, Assistant New Media to Rep. Soro.
