Regina Askia returns to screen in ‘Set of Web’

After a long hiatus, Nollywood veteran actress, Regina Askia, will be making a big come back to movie screens in a new movie entitled ‘Web’.

The actress confirmed that she has officially ended her 20-year acting hiatus and her fans are excited about the return of their favourite actress.

The movie, directed by Wole Ogundare, who is based in the USA, would also parade popular actors including Ramsey Nouah, Nkechi Blessing, Seun Sesan Jimoh, Black Panther star, Atandwa Kani, among others.

Shot in the US, many movie lovers and fans of Askia have been looking forward to the movie since news came to town that the talented actress who ruled the Nigerian movie screens for years would be starring in the new movie.

It was gathered that getting Askia, who qualified as a nurse in the US to be part of the new project that is being bankrolled by Siderz Entertainment TV was not an easy task, but the prospect of the big budget movie and its cast are said to have convinced the veteran actress.

The movie, it was gathered would also parade popular Hollywood movie stars. Shot in Atlanta, Georgia, the forthcoming movie stars the actress as a nurse named Olivia. Industry watchers say movie lovers are anxiously looking forward to the return of their star actress in the movie.
