For long, Nigerians have been calling for cost reduction in governance. We thank God that President Muhammadu Buhari has finally taken a step in that direction.

The National Assembly is the most wasteful arm of government that needs to be drastically downsized. What about the known and unknown looters in various ministries, departments, government agencies and even in all the military and para-military institutions?
Until the cleansing is total, government’s motive would remain suspicious.
