Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo had stated recently that creating state police would be Nigeria’s best option to guarantee security.
Speaking with TribuneChurch, Igbinosa, who lent his voice to the calls, noted that “the country has come a long a way and cannot continue to remain where it has been for more than five decades of gaining independence from the British colonial administration without making any progress. I believe that there is a need to make progress and things would change for the better.
Bishop Igbinosa, who is the General Overseer of Gospel Outreach Ministries Inc, Ekpoma, said: “It is not actually the people, but the orientation of whoever is in charge of a state. If there is proper orientation, things will be much better. The country is growing and we cannot remain where we have been over the years without making progress. I believe that we will make progress and things will change,” he stated.
