He stressed that Hon. Adedoyin was exceptional at the House, as she was responsive to the yearnings of her Constituents as well as prioritising what enhance their well-being.
The governorship aspirant prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest, the Patriarch of Adedoyin family, Pa Samuel Adedoyin and other members of the family, the people of Irepodun federal Constituency, the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, the Peoples Democratic Party, government and People of Kwara State the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Also, the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the death of a member of the House of Representatives from the State, Hon. Deborah Olufunke Adedoyin as a monumental loss to womenfolk and mankind as a whole.
It is regrettable that a woman in the ilk of our dear princess, an Amazon and a pride to womenfolk left the political space at a time like this.
The Agbamu born princess made modest contributions to the development of her birthplace, region and Nigeria as a whole.
She has taken representation to the next level with visible infrastructural developments in her constituency. She excelled where many men failed.
Funke Adedoyin has shown that every child is a blessing and promoter of family’s name.
We commiserate with her father, Chief Samuel Adedoyin, a philanthropist in whose direction the late lawmaker worked as a corporate participant, business investor and later as a politician.
She will be missed by everyone she has met through her philanthropic gestures and particularly her constituents in Irepodun, Isin, Ekiti and Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State.
We pray God to grant the family, her constituents and the political class the fortitude to bear the loss.
In its reaction, the Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expressed shock and grief over the sudden demise of Princess Funke Adedoyin, the member representing Irepodun/Ekiti/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.
