Badmus in a statement forwarded to the Tribune Online in Osogbo contended that with the credentials of Oyetola and his critical roles in policy implementation, which resulted in the achievements recorded by Aregbesola in the provision of infrastructures such as roads and social services, the APC would win the poll.

He said, “you can’t build something on nothing. Oyetola has the best track record among the contestants, and they all know it. His success is not unknown to his rivals but they won’t just admit it publicly. But the people of Osun know Oyetola’s worth and they are prepared to vote him by September 22, 2018.”
Badmus, who enjoined the electorate to vote massively for the APC in the forthcoming poll emphasised the need on the part of the people not to truncate the impressive pace of social and economic growth witnessed in the state in almost eight years.
The stalwart, an aspirant for Irepodun-Olorunda-Orolu-Osogbo Federal Constituency in the 2019 general polls said constituents in his communities and major stakeholders in the state were ready to repay the APC with votes for establishing numerous projects within the constituency.
