Osinbajo to attend summit for financing creative industry

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to deliver a keynote address at the first summit on financing the creative industry which will hold at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island Lagos.

The Minister of Information and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed is also expected to deliver the opening address.

The event which will hold on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th will draw a deep cross section of speakers from around the world and Nigeria, including Rachel Glaister – EVP International Brands & Press; Graham Spencer – SVP EMEA South, Lindsey Oliver – MD Chiswick Park Studios; Sanjay Salil – MD MediGuru; Jason Njoku – CEO Ikoro TV.

Other persons expected at the summit includes Alex Okosi – Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Viacom International Media Networks Africa; Kene Mkparu – Founder and Group MD/CEO of Filmhouse Cinemas and FilmOne Production/Distribution and Pai Gamde – Acting Head, Corporate Services Division, The Nigerian Stock Exchange among others.

The main objective of the 2 day conference is to create a platform which will provide key information on the essential elements of financing film, television & music production In Nigeria.

Television & film producers, banks, copyright lawyers, students in the creative industry, artists, actors and media practitioners are also expected to attend the summit.
