THE All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State is leading in 11 local government council areas out of 20 so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
While is the closest rival, the Allied People’s Movement (APM) has won three LGs with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) won at Imeko-Afon LG.

The council areas won by APC were Ijebu-Ode; Odogbolu; Odeda; Ijebu North-East; Sagamu; Remo North; Abeokuta South; Ijebu East; Ogunwaterside; Obafemi Owode and Ikenne.
The APM won in Ewekoro; Egbado South and Abeokuta North.
