A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Mr Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola has urged the newly elected National Chairman of the party, Sen Abdullahi Adamu to deploy his well-oiled party administration experience to reposition the party ahead of 2023 elections.
Ayoola, in a statement made available to Nigerian Tribune, lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring the success of the convention, despite all odds.
According to him, the president has by this achievement demonstrated again that he is keen on deepening the tenets of democracy in the country.
The political scientist said the major task ahead of Senator Adamu leadership would be to ensure genuine reconciliation and unity of the party members across the nation.

He said no sacrifice should be considered too big to make the party more formidable and continue governance beyond 2023.
While congratulating Adamu, Ayoola described the former two-term governor of Nasarawa State as having all it takes to manage all the diverse interests in the party.
He said, “What is only needed for the Adamu-led executives to succeed is the support and cooperation of other members of the party across the country. We must support this new leadership of the party to make a success of the onerous task ahead,” he said.
