The Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, Association of Mass Communication Students, AMACOS Representative Council (ARC)  has impeached the Social Director 1 of the association, Joseph Oyinbo owing to the misappropriation of a sum of One Hundred and Ninety-Five Thousand Naira N195,000 traced to him.
This decision was made on Tuesday at the department room after a meeting by the ARC with the members of the Executives, where the unanimous decision was made to impeach Oyinbo.
The speaker, Hon. Halleluyah Adewusi told Campus Beat correspondent that the decision came after a thorough investigation was carried out on the funds generated from the Fresher’s Night that was remitted to Oyinbo.
He said: “It was gathered that the fund was misappropriated by him.

“This, according to the constitution guiding the Executive body, is an unpardonable offence which calls for impeachment.
“In line with the constitution, we have summoned Oyinbo for defence at the meeting, but he failed to appear before the Council.
“This prompted the ARC members to vote on his impeachment.”
Eight people out of 10 members present were reported to have voted in support of the impeachment due to the fact that the victim could not account and defend the allegations raised against him.
Oyinbo, however, could not be found as of the time of filing this report.
