Supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, have erected a large billboard in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, ahead of Tribunal judgement on the petition challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu.
The billboard features a bold picture of a gavel symbolising the Judiciary with an inscription that reads “ALL EYES ON THE JUDICIARY”.
The sight of the billboard has generated lots of comments and reactions as Nigerians earnestly wait for the Judiciary to decide their fate following the controversial February 25 presidential election.
After the final showdown in the legal battle between Obi and Tinubu over the 25 February presidential election, the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja on Tuesday, August 1, reserved its judgement.
A five-member panel of the court headed by Haruna Tsammani said a date for judgement would be communicated to parties in the suit.
