This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Unogwu Jacob, Acting Head, Press and Public Relation Unit of NYSC in Nasarawa state and made available to pressmen in Lafia.
Accordingly, the statement stated that the new clinic will be inaugurated would attract many dignitaries such as the Nasarawa state Deputy Governor, Mr Silas Agara, Brig. Gen. Sule Kazaure, NYSC Director-General, wife of the Nasarawa state Governor, Hajia Mairo Al-Makura among others in attendance.

The statement adds that the ultra-modern clinic, first of its kind in any orientation camp across the country, was built by Hajia Mairo Al-Makura through her Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Talafil Foundation, to provide adequate space and health services to corps members without having to leave the orientation camp.
“It is a historic event because it is the first of its kind in NYSC orientation camps across the country. It has several sections that are common in hospitals with several rooms and several bed spaces. We are delighted with this development which will give us the capacity to cater for the health needs of our corp members.
“The NYSC State Coordinator, Nasarawa state, Mrs Zainab Isah on behalf of the Director General of NYSC, Brig. Gen. Sule Kazaure wishes to appreciate His Excellency, the Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Al-Makura, his wife, Hajiya Mairo Al-Makura and the good people of Nasarawa state for their continued support for the NYSC in the state, ” The statement said.
