The fifth edition of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Annual Conference and Retreat for Senior Officers will take place in Abeokuta, Ogun State, from Monday, February 24, to Thursday, February 27.
This was disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
According to the statement, the event, themed “Improving Nigeria’s Internal Security and Economic Prosperity Through Inclusive Policing,” aligns with the Force’s commitment to enhancing leadership capacity and fostering professional development.
The conference will feature intensive workshops, strategic discussions, and team-building exercises, with over 170 senior officers expected to participate.

The statement described the retreat as a crucial platform for sharing best practices and strengthening the Force’s effectiveness. “The insights and strategies developed during this event will further enhance the Force’s capacity to serve and protect Nigeria. This conference and retreat underscore the Force’s commitment to excellence,” it added.
Dignitaries expected at the event include President Bola Tinubu, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, as well as state governors, members of the National Assembly, ministers, service chiefs, top government officials, industry leaders, and other key stakeholders.
The Nigeria Police Force reaffirmed its dedication to building a safer, more secure nation through continuous professional development and strategic leadership.
