The Plea was made in Lagos at the 8th convocation ceremony of the institute, which held recently, President, Mr Tony Agenmonmen urged the fresh graduates to play by the rules, guiding marketing practice, in whatever space they found themselves, so as to enhance the equity of the practice in the country.
He explained that the graduands were being offered the institute’s certificate having scaled through series of tests and examinations conducted by the institute and found worthy in character and learning.
While assuring stakeholders of the council’s commitment to upholding the ethics of the profession and repositioning the practice to meet the challenges of the time, the NIMN boss stated that the institute had just secured a more befitting secretariat, as a way of creating the right ambience for the practice to flourish.
About 320 students were issued Post Graduate Diploma certificates and Professional Certificate in Marketing.
