A cleric and founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Canaanland Ministry, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji, has said that Nigerian leaders must work to bridge the growing division among the people.

Prophet Oladeji said at a press briefing, on Monday, at the commencement of 15th Apostle Ayò Babalola Power Explosion, noted that socio-economic challenges confronting the country could be traced to the doorstep of the deceptive tendencies and greed on the part of some of those in authorities, saying “the present drumbeats of war and tempestuous situation are manifestation of such.”

Oluboye said unrighteousness and failure on the part of leaders had put the country into bondage of under-development, corruption, insurgency, economic recession, hatred, ethnicity, kidnapping and rape alongside other socio-economic menace.

The firebrand preacher, who spoke at a press briefing heralding the 15th yearly Apostle Ayo Babalola Power Explosion (Erio 2017) with the theme “King of kings” holding between June 26 and July 1 at CAC Mountain of Mercy, Erio Ekiti, Ekiti State, however, assured of end in sight to the country’s myriad of problems.

He said: “The essence of this weeklong crusade is to seek the face of God. The theme, “King of kings”, is targeted at Nigerians, governments in Nigeria and the world as a whole. If Nigerians turn to God, the King of kings and seek Him genuinely, He will intervene in the affairs of the country. I have hope that all the storm facing the nation will soon be over.

“What we want everybody to know is that whatever we are experiencing in this life – in our marriage, work, family life, God’s ministry and even in running the affairs of the country, the only one who can show us the way is the King of kings. The message addresses our nation and those of us who are in it and it as well the government of the day.

“Do not doubt in your present challenge. I am assuring everyone in Nigeria that all the challenges of hate speech, ill-governance, austerity, recession, kidnapping, and terrorism among others would soon pass away.

“The one who knows the foundation of Nigeria is the King of kings. All the hate speeches, secession threats, sectionalism, terrorism and all that would eventually reveal the awesomeness of the God. This is why we are assuring all that very soon, the manifestation of King of kings would put paid to all these challenges,” he said.

The cleric canvassed fervent prayers by Christian and Muslim clerics to put out the embers of war and disunity so that peace, which he described as necessary condition for development and progress would reign supreme in the country.

Oluboye, flanked by other clerics including Prophet Sam Olu Alo, Pastor Ola Ojo, Pastor Peter Ilesanmi and Evangelist Mayowa Ojo, said necessary arrangements were in place for a successful outing, adding that the programme would witness “salvation, healing, deliverance, marital success, financial breakthrough, answers to prayers for the fruit of womb, intercession for the nation and lots more.
