A Nigerian tech entrepreneur, Josiah Mbachu is reshaping the matchmaking industry with the launch of Matcheggs, a dating app.
The app which focuses on innovation and user security, promises to make online matchmaking easier, safer, and more inclusive for a global audience.
Mbachu said he has always been passionate about creating solutions that connect people.
He said, “I’ve always believed in the power of technology to bring people together. With Matcheggs, we are creating a platform for dating and also building a safe space where meaningful connections can thrive.”
The app, which has many outstanding features, promises to reduce scam accounts with the advanced use of AI.
This is a direct response to one of the most common complaints from users of existing dating platforms.
It also plans to offer unique matching algorithms that consider not just interests but also deeper compatibility factors, making it easier for users to find their perfect match.
Mbachu’s vision for the app extends beyond just dating.
He said, “I see the platform as a way to foster authentic connections in a world increasingly driven by digital interactions.
“Many people feel isolated in today’s fast-paced world. We want to change that by creating a platform where people feel valued and understood. It goes beyond swiping left or right, it’s about finding someone who truly gets you.”
As the founder of multiple successful companies, including Uidigitals, a digital marketing firm that has helped startups generate millions in revenue, Mbachu is confident in his ability to carve out a niche for Matcheggs.
The app is set to roll out globally, with a focus on markets in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
Its launch comes at a time when online dating continues to grow, especially among young people looking for convenient and effective ways to meet new people.
