The Nigerian Books of Record was officially launched on Friday 30th December, 2011 at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos under the Chief Host of His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, the executive Governor of Lagos State. The event was attended by Governors, politicians, captain of industries, distinguished professionals, and academicians. Dr. Sunny Emmanuel Ojeagbase, publishers of Complete Sports newspapers and SuccessDigest, the quest speaker of the event, spoke on the need to celebrate Nigerian leading lights.
