The Chairman Organising Committee, Drone Technology Conference and Exhibition, Mr Fortune Idu has declared that all arrangements had been put in place for the second edition of Dronetecx conference.
Speaking with some journalists at the NIGAV center in Lagos on the coming 2022 Drone Conference slated for May 10 to 12, 2022, with its theme: ‘Paving a successful future for drones development in Nigeria and Africa’, Idu disclosed that the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Nuhu Musa, had already expressed his full weight behind the exhibition by agreeing to attend the event.
Idu explained that the NCAA had so far operated a very fair playing field for the drone industry to take off with a five years projection, adding that drone applications will be available in all sectors and field with the country experiencing exponential growth in the technology.

Idu who said the NCAA chief will be speaking on the topic: ‘Update on regulatory framework that is aimed at driving a safe drone and UAS future’, said the paper will prepare the industry towards a progressive future for the technology optimisation adding that over 18 industry leaders will be speaking at the conference while 250 delegates and 1000 daily visitors were expected at the exhibition
Those expected include, the aviation college in Zaria, NCAT, NCAA, Accident Investigation Burea (AIB), Nigeria Aerospace Global Air Accedemy, Asseco, Ariel among others.
