Milkshake is a sweet, cold beverage which is usually made from milk, ice cream or iced milk with flavourings or sweeteners such as butterscotch, caramel sauce, chocolate syrup or fruit syrup. Making a milk shake is pretty easy but making a perfect milkshake is all about balance. No matter what flavour you like, getting the right ratio of ice cream to milk is key. Milkshakes using ice cream or iced milk are sometimes called a thick milk shake or thick shake.
How to prepare Milkshake
-Put your glass in the freezer to get a nice chill on it.
-Make sure your ice cream is soft but not runny.
-Take 3 hearty scoops of your favourite ice cream; add 2 ounces of milk and any flavourings of your choice.
-If you are adding cookies to your milk shake, add 3 roughly crushed cookies to the ice cream [which is optional].
-Top it with whipped cream and additional cookies or candy of your choice.
-If you want to make a grownup milkshake, skip the milk and just add your liquor of choice. Just a splash will do.
-Serve, drink and enjoy your flavoured milk shake.
