The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Festac Mega Axis has organized a Couples Dinner Night in a bid to pray for the healing of wounds in marriages.
Speaking at the event which took place over the weekend in Lagos, The Senior Regional Overseer at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Moses Oluwadare has said the programme helps husbands and wives to reset their minds towards marriages.
Pastor Oluwadare noted that the fallout in marriages is due to lack of love and care, stating that Love is the main care of any home because there is no marriage without its challenges.
The Senior Pastor explained that there is a level it gets to where there is no adequate love that individuals would start thinking about themselves.
He added that when God provides woman for man, he made woman to help the man.
“The programme is to heal the wounds in marriages. It is to help husbands and wives to reset heir minds towards their attitudes in marriages.
“Reasons for the fallout in marriages theses days are lack of love and care.
“Love is the main care of any home because there is no marriage without its challenges.
“But, where there is no adequate love, there is a level it gets to, individuals would start thinking about themselves.
“When God provides woman for man, he made woman to help the man. And because they are one flesh. So, there is nothing called 50-50.
“They are together to run their affairs. But two shall come together to form one that is what the bible says.” Pastor Moses stated.
Speaking also, Regional Overseer at MFM, Mrs Christiana Sanya noted that the idea is to talk to couples how to keep their homes in unity, advising how husbands should be treating their wives and how wives should be treating their husbands and how both of them should treat their children and train them in the way of the lord.
Mrs Christiana adduced that this is because marriage is ordained by God and he wants husbands and wives and children to be like God the father, the son and the holy spirit.
She noted that the church is taking this into consideration because of what they are seeing and hearing.
“This is to talk to couples how to keep their homes in unity- How husbands should be treating their wives and how wives should be treating their husbands and how both of them should treat their children and train them in the way of the lord.
“This is because marriage is ordained by God and it wants husbands and wives and children to be like God the father, the son and the holy spirit.
“The church is taking this into consideration because of what they are seeing and hearing. For instance, people are not praying before they enter into marriage, and some of them would pray without waiting for discernment.” She said.
