Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu awarded N10 million to Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, the best-graduating student at Lagos State University (LASU), during the university’s 27th Convocation and 41st Anniversary celebration on Thursday.
Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, Accounting Education, who graduated with a CGPA of 4.98,for the 2022/2023academic session.
According to a tweet by Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, a graduate with a CGPA of 4.98 in Accounting Education, was honored with a gift in recognition of his exceptional academic performance.

He wrote, “FLASH: The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. #JideSanwoolu, has announced a reward of N110 million for Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, the top graduating student of Lagos State University (#LASUOfficial), who achieved a CGPA of 4.98 in Accounting Education.”
Several distinguished individuals received honorary doctorate degrees at the event.
